National Constitution Center is a nonprofit, nonpartisan institution devoted to the U.S Cons and its legacy. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the center works as a museum, town hall, and center for education featuring interactive exhibits, theatrical performances, educational resources, and debates. The site contains primary documentation mainly revolving around the U.S constitution.
American Civil Liberties Union is a nonpartisan non-profit organization whose stated mission is "to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States." This site contains primary documentation on cases the ACLU is currently involved in ranging from clemency to women's right.
National Archive's DOCS TEACH is a web site created with the support of Texas Instruments providing access to thousands of documents steaming from the National Archives. The website contains a number of gems such as items "George Washington’s draft of the Constitution, the cancelled check for the purchase of Alaska, Chuck Yeager’s notes on the first supersonic flight, President Richard Nixon’s resignation letter and many others." The Site is designed to help teachers teach students how to analyze primary source documents and view the events of the past on its own terms.
Library Of Congress is website provides access to the primary documents housed in the "largest library in the world" the Library of Congress, which serves as the official research library of congress and the de facto national library of the United States. The website provides access to numerous documents ranging from the Revolutionary War all the way to Reconstruction.
